Role : Functional SAP HCM
Location : Atlanta, GA

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support production configuration and functional change requests.
- Support business implementations by performing in a consultative manner and make best practice recommendations for both business process and configuration.
- Conduct configuration changes to accommodate change requests and prototype activities as may be applicable and assigned by the SAP HR and Payroll Manager in the areas of PA, OM, Performance Management, Competency Management, Learning Management, Compensation and Succession Planning.
- Ensuring adherence to Rowan SDLC methodology, change control, and compliance requirements.
- Create plans and lead QA/test activities for configuration/development activities.
- Work with the Business Analyst and the client to identify their requirements, design enhancements and functionality to help meet user requirements.
- Organize and facilitate problem-solving discussions with the client, internal operations team, and project managers to resolve issues requiring a focused approach to maintain project continuity and requirements.
- Performs configuration work as needed to support new and existing functionality
- Responsible for creating Function Design Documents based on business requirements and either developing the corresponding solution or working with the assigned technical team member to manage the item through to completion in the production environment
Qualifications:
- Ideally degreed qualified in a relevant field, however equivalent work experience will be considered
- SAP certified, preferred but not essential.
Skills & Experience:
- 3 – 5 years' experience in the design and configuration of the SAP PA, OM
- 2 – 4 years' experience in the design and documentation of functional system designs
- 3 – 5 years' experience utilizing a standard SAP SDLC
- 3 – 5 years' experience working with end users to define requirements and recommend solutions working independently within the construct of a defined SDLC
- Knowledge and experience with Performance Management, Learning Management, Competency Management, Succession Planning and Compensation is preferred
