Meant to add this just as an interesting thing to read about or watch the videon on. SNAP-Tag from NEB. Really cool flourscent labelling system with fusion protein and a DNA repair enzyme. It was supposed to take over for GFP but I guess it hasn't caught on as much as they thought it would. A little unrelated but, neat nonetheless
