It's that time again- That is, for BIOTECH 101!
Come to BOSSLAB for two jam-packed days of hands on molecular biology! This class will be on the 6th and 7th of April from 3:00-5:30. We will be exploring (and practicing) basic laboratory techniques that are critical in the lab, including sterilization, aseptic technique, pipetting and making media. We will get hands-on by transforming bacteria with plasmid DNA that makes them turn green! After that we will extract the DNA back out and look at it with gel electrophoresis.
