Good to know the for-profits still can be involved. I read through
the funding section FAQ and it just sounded like 90% of the time it
was "invite only" but it's good to know that here and there a few
great ideas can make it through and get funded. Grant writing is
something I"d like to learn to do, but dread doing. It takes away
from time spent in the lab!

I also didn't mean to come off as a pessimist in the last short
comment I made, I was more asking myself a rhetorical question out
loud, if that's even possible. I wish you all the best Ruediger, the
idea is an interesting one, and with drive and passion you can make it
happen!
