Overview:
Our client is seeking an OBIEE architect/developer to undertake medium and large IT projects within the Financial Reporting Shared Services IT group. This is full-time very visible role that will require OBIEE SME to service various groups within IT. Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition
Finance IT Delivery is responsible in managing all medium and large IT projects as well as production support. The role of the Finance IT OBIEE architect/developer is to deliver highly visible strategic solutions for our Finance and Finance Change clients and manage all aspects of the project lifecycle delivery from initiation through close-out. Developer will be responsible for a full development life cycle including the review of business requirements and translating them into technical specs.
The initial 2-3 months will be dedicated to the migration from windows/10g to Linux/11g. After, daily maintenance/enhancements and Essbase integration will be the focus for this position.
The client is seeking a candidate with strong technical, written, communication, and presentation skills.
Candidate should have a track record of success in full lifecycle development and successful delivery.
Candidate should possess these essential skills:
Ø Candidate should have 8+ years of experience in IT development preferably within the financial services industry
Ø Hands-on OBIEE, Oracle/Sybase SQL
Ø Past experience in migrating OBIEE 10g to 11g
Ø Skilled in all aspects of development lifecycle
Ø Candidate should have relevant experience in producing technical specification documents
Ø Relevant experience in producing business and IT process flows
Ø Candidate should have relevant experience in producing test cases/scenarios
Ø Candidate should have experience with using tools such as MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel
Ø Must possess strong written, communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills
Ø Individual must be a strong team player and be willing to "roll-up their sleeves" as needed, to ensure the overall success of project
Ø Individual must have strong interpersonal skills
Ø Individual should be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ø Individual should be a self-starter
Additional Skills:
Ø Knowledge of Spotfire is a big plus
Ø Knowledge of BI Publisher
Ø Knowledge of Oracle Financial
