Position

We have an immediate opening for a Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer. We are looking for an enthusiastic problem-solver who will lead the effort of building the custom automation framework(s) for API testing and GUI testing. This position will report to the QA Manager and work with the other leads to identify the requirements, define the solution, and execute the QA plan. The lead engineer is also expected to provide mentorship to other QA team members.

Job Overview

Ø  Lead the effort for projects that involve both front-end and back-end in eCommerce environment. Hi,

Ø  Develop and implement QA test plans for manual and automated tests 

Ø  Develop high quality test cases

Ø  Analyze performance reports and identify bottlenecks. .

Ø  Work with developers for code review and test case review

Ø  Work with developers to debug and troubleshoot code

Ø  Work with business analysts to clarify requirements and build test plans.

Ø  Work with the Release Manager for test complete in each environment for multiple projects.

Ø  Work with the project team to continually improve the QA process and drive product quality throughout the software development life cycle.

Qualifications

Requirements

Ø  6+ years of Software Quality Assurance/Testing experience

Ø  4+ years of automation experience

Ø  Must have strong understanding of SDLC and QA process.

Ø  Must have strong database skills

Ø  Must have strong working knowledge on web service architecture

Ø  Must have good communication skills and leadership.

Ø  Experience in a dynamic ecommerce environment

Ø  Proficiency in the following technologies: PHP,  Ruby/ Ruby on Rails, Groovy

Ø  BS in Computer Science

Ø  MS in Computer science is a plus

Assets

Ø  Agile developer experience

Ø  Experience with LAMP

Ø  Experience with CI tools

Ø  Extensive RESTful web services testing.

Ø  Hands-on experience in programming with Selenium RC (Webdriver), Groovy Scripts, Ruby/Ruby on Rails, PHP or Java

Ø  Experience in analyzing monitoring reports: (Splunk, Keynote, Gomez, Nagios, etc)

Ø  Experience in managing/setting-up cloud based test environments.

Ø  Experience creating plug-in and add-ins for tool integration. (SoapUI, Redmine, Jira, Testrail, etc)

Ø  Performance and load testing experience
