Role : Apex / PL/SQL – web developer
Duration : 6 months+

Location : San Francisco, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and unit test new features, enhancements and interfaces for APEX web application
• Drive consistent quality practices through all your work and in major new functionality
• Conduct design and code walk-throughs
• Address issues related to system stability, scalability, performance and security
• Prioritize and multi-task simultaneous input work streams to help meet researcher and administrator demands for excellence
• Mentor and lead junior developers

Skills:

• Expert skill level (5+ yrs) with Oracle's Application Express framework (APEX)
• Strong Oracle database development experience including SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning etc.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, and JSON
• Experience with JQuery JavaScript library
• Experience in using Object Oriented Design Techniques
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, MIS or related field or equivalent experience
