For those on the list who are into the neuro end of things, there's a pretty awesome looking opensource hardware EEG up on kickstarter right now. The base board is only 8 channel, but you can daisy chain multiple together for 16, 24, etc. Looks pretty legit.

Also, while I definitely support the creators, you can get a free sample of the EEG chip they use from TI with email reg. Go to http://www.ti.com/product/ads1299, scroll down to Free Sample and you can select both the ADS1299IPAG and ADS1299IPAGR on the next page after logging.
