Job Title: QA Manager with Contact Center Experience

Location: San Ramon, CA

Duration: 6-12+ Months

Billing Rate: $60/Hour

 

Key Responsibilities:

1.       Manage Testing of Company SW Releases & products

2.       Manage projects to develop new automation/performance tools

3.       Conduct software inspection, testing, verification, and validation

4.       Create and support test documentation (Test Plans, Test Cases)

5.       Respond to Software Quality Assurance issues with related groups such as Development, Dev Ops, Cloud Operations, QA, Test Automation, and Customer Support

6.       Assure viability, functionality and effectiveness of Five9 test tools

7.       Participate in the definition, architecture and implementation of Performance, Load and stress tools to benchmark Five9 solutions

8.       Anticipate feature release problems and takes corrective action, escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve commitments

9.       Work collaboratively with Test Automation team and DevOps to plan, execute and track all assigned automation & performance initiatives

10.   Orchestrate the delivery of software to QA & Production environments

11.   Identify task and checklists for software deployment and drive internal processes to achieve deployment goals

 

Key Skills:

1.       BS/BA degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline.

2.       Minimum of 7 years of software quality assurance experience, to include a minimum of 3 years in a lead role or management position in test automation or Performance testing.

3.       Experience testing Client-Server architecture from Performance, Load & stress point of view

4.       Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and administration of Software Quality Assurance processes and test tools

5.       Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication, and project management skills; strong leadership and mentoring skills

6.       Desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process & product quality as well as reliability

7.       Strong understanding of different software development life cycles (waterfall, iterative) and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools.

8.       Must have experience in managing and working with distributed team members

 

Desirable skills:

1.       Experience testing Web UI Interfaces, REST-API interface

2.       Experience testing email/chat applications from server side point of view

3.       Experience with DBMS (MySQL desirable)

4.       Hands-on experience testing VoIP networks, SIP, WebRTC

5.       Hands-on experience testing Telephony protocols and features for ISDN, PSTN

6.       Hands-on experience using Sonus SBC  (Session Border Controller)

7.       Hands-on experience testing Bulk Call Generators (Spirent abacus A5000)

8.       Knowledge of foundation, principles and techniques of SW programming;

9.       Automation Test skills, ability to develop/modify scripts based on (Python & Java)

10.   Network administration skills (Linux)

11.   Working experience on agile methodologies

12.   Experience in Real-time Mission critical Systems (Contact Centers, PBX, CRM)
