Last night the third BioHack Academy came to a spectacular end. Over 20 participants presented their work via live stream, ranging from memory-evoking skin patches to DIY algae reactors and from encoding Japanese traditional sake songs in yeast DNA to cellulose haute couture. In just 10 weeks groups in Albuquerque (USA), Tokyo (Japan), Kolding (Denmark), Belgrade (Serbia) and Amsterdam (The Netherlands) simultaneously developed open source lab tools and used those to develop their own projects. For those of you who were not able to join the live stream, we'll upload the recordings soon to www.vimeo.com/channels/bha3
-- The goal of the BHA is to create a network of people that like to share their biological tools, methods and outcomes.
