[DIYbio] Research Questions - Answers would be greatly appreciated

Hi All,

I am gathering research for my dissertation on how far we as human beings are integrating ourselves in to the age of technology to essentially evolve the human race and how and why we are considering further methods of science and technology to advance ourselves.

If anyone would like to respond to one or all of the questions below, it would be greatly appreciated and will help me to continue my studies. Of course as with all research, privacy and confidentiality of individuals can be taken in to effect if necessary.

1. Why do you think people are looking to upgrade themselves, whether being physically or mentally?

2. Why do you think we need to upgrade and bio-hack our lives?

3. Do you think there is a limitation to bio-hacking? Why?

4. Some argue that advancing the human body artifically has been glamourized by the science fiction movies and books we see and read. Do you agree or disagree? Why?

5. Do you think there is a potential danger to society by creating an idea that there is a need to advance and upgrade human beings? Why?

Thank you very much for you time!
