Title: STB Test Engineer

Duration: 6-12 months contract.

Location: Philadelphia, PA.

Key responsibilities includes:

•         Execute test cases using defined test plans and technical requirements as input

•         Analyze test results, report and track defects and provide regular test status

•         Follow the work plan to meet project milestones in a fast-paced, time sensitive project

•         Work with the customer team and Cisco development team to reproduce, troubleshoot and isolate customer found issues

Minimum Requirements

•         5+ years of set-top test experience in functional, performance, stability, and regression testing

•         Must possess knowledge of SQA Processes and tools

•         Have a good working knowledge of Linux/Unix, MPEG-2, H.264 & Networking

•         2+ years of scripting experience in Shell, Python  or Perl

•         Ability to troubleshoot and triage issues at customer site

•         Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with customer teams

•         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•         Ability to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Experience:

·         STB

·         Test automation experience

Required experience:

•         5+ years
