Essential Functions

• Develop and maintain Test Plan strategy.
• Build and manage the overall test process, according to the organization’s test methodology.
• Prepare, specify, and execute test case scenarios.
• Track defects found in QA
• Provide internal quality assurance.
• Identify and report project risks.
• Report on progress of the test process.

Experience, Qualifications and Technical Skills and Abilities

• At least 5+ years’ experience with Quality Assurance and Software Testing Tools.
• Experience with writing automated tests in QTP
• Experience creating and editing automated service test scripts a plus  
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Project, Visio)
• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
• Understanding of Web applications
• Ability to work with a diverse group of project participants – both technical and communicate at a level appropriate to the audience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to review and understand Business / Functional Requirements
• Ability to compose Test Cases based on requirements documentation
• Ability to perform testing functions and record test execution results based on detailed test cases
• Identify defects and issues during test phase
• Ability to manage conflicting interests and identify compromises
• Ability to deliver results under pressure
• Experience working in an agile environment is a plus.
• Ability to write and analyze test reports across a broad audience
• Ability to present recommendations to a senior audience
• B.S. Degree, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent work experience
