Job Description 

To support and produce interactive and web communications implementing code standards and best practices.

Scope:

• Responsible for supporting 10 or more client production projects per year including communications.

• Key participant on account teams.

• Leads and represents approach and solution development as it pertains to front-end production.

• Produces, directs, and coordinate with a variety of team participants.

Daily Job Functions:

Front-end Web Development:

(1) Build web user interface and functionality ensuring browser compatibility – 60%

(2) Build HTML emails that display properly in many email clients – 10%

(3) Translates Photoshop Comps into working HTML – 10%

(4) Understand and apply software and web application functionality, navigation, usability, and site architecture – 5%

(5) Interacts with the project team and project managers during software development lifecycle to maintain usability, site functionality, and implementation of best practices – 15%

 Skill Set

5-7 years of experience

Required Skills: Able to develop hand-coded HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3 and JavaScript

• Experience with jQuery, Angular.js, Bootstrap, LESS, JSON and REST API

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, especially debugging and browser/platform compatibility testing.

• Experience using versioning software/repositories such as Subversion and Git

• Familiarity with TFS, Team Foundation Server

• Employs coding best practices

• Familiarity with usability standards

• Solid communication skills

• Experience building sites using responsive and adaptive design

• Experience building mobile web applications, native apps a big plus

• Ability to hand-code html emails according to best practices (responsive/mobile emails a plus)

• Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team

• Creative thinker - able to evaluate multiple approaches to solve a single problem

• Strong command of Firebug and/or Chrome Developer Tools
