Position: SAP Financial Consultant

Location: Andover, MA

Duration: 3 months

Job Description:

Perform process requirements (OTC, PTP) and analysis workshops with customer to define business process, functional requirements and data element requirements.    Consult and provide guidance with best process, project scheduling for successful tax automation implementations. Gather business, process and integration requirements between Sabrix and SAP (SD, FI,MM).    Support customers in preparing and documenting tax use cases and testing scenarios. 

·         Ability to conduct Consulting engagements, do requirements gathering from customers, understand business need and articulate solutions. Negotiation, Presentation Skills should be apt to showcase technology depth and breadth of the organization. Ability to map to the right stakeholders, multivendor/practice/party coordination. Proactive approach towards generating downstream business revenue by analyzing the as is business of the customer. Account Mining to generate opportunities.

·         Ability to understand the customer business processes and the IT landscape rapidly and able to foresee the likely challenges. Ability to frame the rightest of questions for the multiple tracks. Create solution proposals with effort estimation for a chosen project track. and create a solution road map addressing the current and the future needs of the business. Conduct solution architecting workshops with the business managers. Create detailed solution documentation and presentations and implement the solution using the standard solutions in SAP. Should have at least 4 - 6 years of SAP experience in the core module of specialization and 3 - 5 years of domain experience. Able to lead a team and train the team and possess sufficient knowledge of the quality processes and adopted quality standards in projects. Knowledge of the recognized quality tools and Participate in Quality meetings Must have a good understanding of the sub modules of FI - General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and the Asset Accounting Module, with a good working knowledge of the CO Modules comprising of Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Profitability Analysis.

·         Must have a good business process understanding. Ability to elicit the right information by framing the right set of questions. Able to assist in creating solution proposals / solution workshops / detailed solution and assist in preparing the solution road map. Ability to create the detailed solution and assist in implementing the solution. Good module level knowledge and able to configure based on the design document and a good knowledge of the quality processes and used them in projects. Should have 0 - 2 years of SAP experience in the core module of specialization and 0 - 2 years of domain experience. Must have a good knowledge of the FI sub modules comprising of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Integration with Sales and Distribution and Material Management. Must have the basic knowledge of the Controlling (CO) submodules of Cost Center Accounting and Profit Center Accounting.
