 !...کاش  آزاد  قبیلے  کے  سخنور  ہوتے 

 !..ہم محاذوں پر نہ بکتے تو سکندر ہوتے 

 خود فریبی کے خوابوں میں رہے ہم ورنہ 

 !....اپنی اوقات میں رهتے تو قلندر ہوتے

موج کوثر کی قسم ہم تھے محبت کے والی 

خاک کے در پے نہ جھکتے تو سمندر ہوتے 

آنکھ نی خواب کے لالچ میں خیانت کر لی

! .. ورنہ ہم جاگتی رتوں کے پیامبر ہوتے
