Maybe you could share them (for getting something in exchange).
Before I worked for 3 weeks in the university lab (kind of traineeship, until last friday), I didn't have any boxes, just some pipette tips in a plastic bag ;)
I now have one for 100uL and another for 10uL, so I've got everything I need. :)
