Role : JAVA Developer/Engineer

Location : Livingston NJ

Duration : 6 Months +

Description:

The right candidate shall be a proven hands-on developer and mentor with ability to define solution architecture, best practices and standards for large enterprise programs. Roles shall include delivering and/or contributing to: Proof of Concepts (POCs), Low Level Solution Design (LLSD), researching creative solutions for high visibility enterprise systems. The Software Developer/Engineer role is primarily for estimating, developing, unit testing, and documenting feature solutions as per the design requirements. They will need to work closely with the design and QA team to deliver solutions on time and with quality.
The role shall be specifically be tasked with researching, architecting and implementing the transition of large front end applications from current homegrown MVC/Struts MVC, Java/J2EE stack to Spring, Spring MVC, Spring JDBC, Web 2.0 (JQuery/JS framework/YUI) and Java/J2EE. As part of a feature development team the role requires participation in all team meetings, contribution to design and code development and setting examples in the group by consistent delivery, code reviews and mentorship. They will be migrating to HTML 5.

Required Skills for Java Spring MVC Developer Job:

· SPRING MVC

· JAVASCRIPT

· JQuery

· Java

· Proficient with OOP – can demonstrate understanding of OOP principles

· MS SQL Server

· Min 3-7 years' experience in Java development

· Expert skills in Java/J2EE

Bonus Skills:

· Healthcare/EMR/EHR experience

· ASP.NET – specifically ASP.NET MVC3/4
