Job Description :

The Senior Cognos ETL Developer will analyze, design, develop, and support initiatives to deliver ETL solutions, using Data Manager in a Cognos 8 environment.
 
Qualifications:

·         MUST HAVE Strong experience (5+ years) with Cognos Data Manager (Cognos DecisionStream experience, a plus)

·         Excellent SQL skills in a Microsoft SQL Server environment

·         Proficient with Power Play Transformer model design and Power Play cube building

·         Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

·         Hands on development and implementation of large information systems with a focus on complex business units including Retail Store Operations, Product Distribution and Supply Chain, and Financials

·         Design and develop complex ETL components, with data coming from multiple sources on various platforms

·         Display aptitude in unearthing and understanding business problems, and how to translate those problems into tangible BI solutions
