Role : UNIX System Engineer
Location : Brooklyn, NY
Duration : 1 year (approx)

SCOPE OF SERVICES: 
This resource will assist in the implementation of the Access Control project by reviewing the specifications and configuration required to install the product in the UNIX Solaris/LINUX environments.  He will be the lead in assisting the team when making suggestions for improvements based upon industry best practices.  This resource will also work closely with the Technical Architecture Team in assisting the in the design of CA – Access Control on all servers.  In addition this resource will ensure that DoITT processes and procedures are followed in the installation and configurations of all the environments during the duration of the project.

 

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

 

  • At least eight (8) years’ experience Systems Architecting and / or deploying CA Access Control products in a large enterprise with Windows, UNIX, Linux, LDAP, Active Directory environment
  • In-depth knowledge of CA Control minder products and hands on experience in implementing and operating the products
  • Demonstrate ability to design software technology at a complex level for single Business Unit multi-product solutions and/or cross Business Unit multi-product integrated solutions of chosen expertise.
  • Proven comprehension of solutions capabilities and how the solution is designed to be integrated into the client environment.
  • Must possess advanced technology troubleshooting skills for products of chosen expertise and for complex integrated solutions.
  • Ability to understand, design, asses, scope and communicate how CA solution(s) of chosen expertise resolve typical DoITT business needs.
  • Possess an above average business level of written and oral professional communication in local language and/or English.
  • Windows Operating Systems,  Active Directory, Multi Domain, LDAP
  • Must maintain updated training as required annually

 

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Industry certification with active status as required; i.e. CISSP, ITIL, etc…
  • CA Technologies product training and certification in chosen solutions of expertise as agreed to by your Manager. Also complete all associated solution training.
  • External hardware, operating system or specific technology certifications are a plus.
  • Knowledge of Remedy Help Desk Software
  • Strong Knowledge of Project Management

Demonstrated product proficiency, by achieving either a Professional or Business Analyst level CA Services Certification (or similar technical accreditation) or CA Services work experience may substitute for external work experience, as determined by CA Services in its discretion
