In universities galleries etc. Last year at makerfaire in Newcastle we had a diybio corner people from around the world, as well as diy bio dinners at all but the last makerfaire(was away).
At makerspace.org newcastle i do brewing, baking and microscopy basic domestic biotechnology as well as investigating affordable lab technologies. Been a bit busy this year but building a tiny lab there in July.
