Job Description;

The Automation Analyst position is part of Client's automation operations and is responsible for supporting Content Ingestion efforts. The position is part analyst and part solutionist. In the analyst role, the Automation Analyst works with Manager, Data Operations to monitor automation operations, establish reporting on key performance indicators, and derive other metrics as business requires. In the solutionist role, the Automation Analyst uses his/her technical skill set to assist with and Client solutions for automation operations, content Client on boarding, content Client management, and ad hoc technical tasks to support business needs. The Automation Analyst reports to Manager, Data Operations.

Job requirements:

·         4 year college degree

·         Advance skills with Microsoft Excel and Access

·         Must be able to write complex VBA scripts

·         Experience with VB6, VB.Net, and ad hoc SQL Statements

·         Ability to write functional and technical documents

·         Required understanding of XML

·         Understanding of JSON a huge plus

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Review files of varying formats and create a series of macros to manage data

·         Developer detailed functional and design specifications, unit test plans, and high quality macros

·         Client on-going product maintenance and enhancements to production applications

·         Handle other duties as required

·         Experience working in a Corporate Environment

Skills: XML, VBA, SQL, Text Editors (Notepad++, FOXE, or similar), Excel (XLS, CSV).
