Location: Redwood City, CA (I need local Consultant)

Your Qualifications
Professional/Academic Experience:
• 6+ years of relevant professional experience in network, telecommunications, and/or security administration
• 6+ years of experience in Information Technology operations
• 3+ years of demonstrated project management experience, including experience managing rollout of network or telecommunication solutions across a multi-site, global, enterprise
• BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related degree
• Professional certifications in the networking, telecommunications, or security desirable
Technical Skills:
• Cisco or Juniper routing and switching experience (LAN, WAN, VLAN, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, HSRP) preferred
• Firewall administration – firm understanding of how firewalls work (NAT, PAT, ACLs)
• VPN administration – SSL VPN and authentication technologies, such as RSA SecurID
• Strong DNS administration and configuration skills – Active Directory and/or Linux/Unix
• VoIP and unified messaging systems administration experience: Cisco Unified Communications
• Solid understanding of Mobile Device Management technologies
• Knowledge of SAML 2.0 and single sign-on technologies
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting F5 load balancers
Communication Skills:
• Demonstrable ability to create technical documentation that is easy to understand by the non-technical audience
• Demonstrable ability to effectively interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both small and large group settings
• Ability to communicate IT technologies in clear business terms
Additional Personal Qualifications:
• Strong team player capable of providing support across the IT organization to train and assist others
• Demonstrable ability to work with a diverse team across global time zones (i.e., US, India, Europe) to effectively complete tasks and objectives
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet specific deadlines through the use of strong organizational skills.
• Highly energetic, self-motivated, quick learner with the ability to work independently
• Willing to Travel domestically and internationally (5%)
