Key Skills Needed:

Minimum 2 years' experience in a Test Lead role on Workday Implementations

Must have been in a Test Lead role on at least one Workday implementation that included the Payroll module

Certification:

This role does not require a Workday Certification, current or otherwise.

However, it does require specific experience as a Test Lead on Workday Implementations.  Their experience will have come by way of in-house or contract employment with a Workday Partner (Deloitte, PwC, Accenture, DayNine, etc)

Job Description:

The Workday Test Lead is responsible for the execution and delivery of QA Testing Service(s) as defined by Quality Assurance. Specifically this candidate will work to lead and support testing for the Workday system implementation. Through effective management of time and resources the Test Lead is responsible for the in-budget completion all activities and deliverables related to the testing phase (system, integration, platform, parallel) of a Workday implementation.

This role is responsible for planning and delivery of, but not limited to, Test Approach, Test strategy/Plan, Test cases and the Defect triage process for the Workday initiative.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for implementing Workday Quality Assurance programs

Working with the Workday project team(s) at all stages to promote quality

Work closely with Workday Project Management team / Workday Technical Lead team to provide test estimates, test schedule, and manage test team resource needs

Will partner and consult with client and key stakeholders to define test conditions, create test scripts, list UAT participants, documents issues and resolutions

Responsible for project the test plan and is accountable for keeping all the stakeholders informed and keeping testing on track.

Monitor, measure, control and report on test progress, product quality and test results

Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns to project management.

Ability to step in and help when needed in test script creation, execution, and/or validation

Review defects, provide status in the daily testing meetings, and assign as appropriate

Work with developers to perform root-cause analysis

Responsible to drive all testing including parallel testing, system testing, and UAT through the approved project testing tool.

Evaluate test cases for induction into automated regression testing

Required Experience:

Minimum 2 years' experience in a Test Lead role on Workday Implementations

Must have been in a Test Lead role on at least one Workday implementation that included the Payroll module

Very knowledgeable of testing on cloud based applications

Overall should have 5 years of QA experience

Strong leadership to manage and lead the team

Experience in a SAAS/cloud consulting or technical environment

Project management experience desired

Proven client facing and communication skills
