Linux Admin/ Engineer

· Puppet management 
· Core Linux knowledge and working experience

· Automation and scripting 

Requirements: 
* At least five years' experience in a production Linux environment 
* Working knowledge of Red Hat based distributions (RHEL, Oracle, CentOS) and how they work 
* Must have experience with Linux/UNIX networking 
* Must have some experience with virtualization 
* Must have good scripting skills, shell scripting is preferred. 
* Must have experience with puppet configuration management. 
* Must have experience managing and maintaining SVN and GIT repositories. 
* Must have decent communication skills 
* Experience managing Continuous Integration build system (Jenkins) is a plus 
* Experience with one of the hypervisor (Citrix XenCenter, VMWare, or KVM) is must. Experience with VMware is plus. 
* Experience working with one of the major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, Google or Rackspace is plus. 
* Experience with Infiniband is a plus 
* Experience with DNS is a plus 

Responsibilities: 
* Implement and support server infrastructure for development, QA and production environments 
* Create and maintain virtual machines 
* Configure and maintain NFS / shared storage systems (NAS/SAN) using various protocols (Ethernet/Infiniband) 
* Configure and maintain system monitoring and configuration tools (Puppet, Nagios) 
* Execute planned network maintenance work, minimizing impact to 24x7 services 
* Disaster recovery procedures 
* Troubleshoot a wide array of system, networking and hardware problems 
* Create, archive, and retrieve Gold Master machine images 
* Manage system-level configuration across multiple server nodes using Puppet or similar tools 
* Perform code deployments to test and production environments 
* Will eventually need to be part of an on-call rotation.
