Cognos Admin

6+ Months

Minneapolis, MN or Denver, CO Or St. Louis, MO or San Antonio, Texas.

GC or citizen

• Administering Cognos BI systems on a day to day basis to ensure platforms meet our SLAs. This might include installation, support, configuration and tuning

• Monitoring Cognos and associated systems for expected performance and taking remedial actions when required

• Support Reports refreshes monitoring and successful completion.

• Support deployment of packages, reports and other BI content. Support code migration from development to QA to production environment.

• Troubleshoot issues within Cognos and associated environments and install fixpacks

• Perform backup, upgrades, set up security roles and users and troubleshoot issues.

• Prepare technical documentation for various Cognos applications.

• Plan and execute disaster recovery procedures

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experience with Cognos 10 BI Environments.

• 2+ years experience in administering Cognos 10 BI in a multi-server environment

• 5+ years experience in Cognos development.
