[DIYbio] Re: Does somebody have a E coli lab strain (K12 derivate) to share?

Check out http://the-odin.com or contact me at case@the-odin.com about shipping to Germany.

Thanks,

Hello there,

In Germany it is not particularly easy to build up a DIY Bio lab because of the many laws regulating biological and genetics research. But there are some things that are allowed in Germany. The problem is to get material to work with. Most companies like Thermo oder Sigma wont ship to private persons but only to institutes. Others only ship to educational facilities. So even getting a safe lab strain like DH5a is not that easy.

Is there someone who could offer sending some in an agar stab to Germany?

Greets
Maximilian
