Job Description:

The Mobile / OTT (Over the Top devices) QA Tester will be responsible for updating, maintaining, and executing a full suite of test scripts related to mobile applications owned and operated by A+E Networks, including but not limited to iOS, Android, Roku, AppleTV, Amazon, and Windows Mobile devices, as well as web applications. Suitable candidates should be experienced in testing backend services.
Candidate will be required to demonstrate expertise in the mobile space with a strong focus on video related components and services. The Candidate will also be required to work extensively with data analysis and validation requiring and should be have strong ability crafting database queries in various database languages. Suitable candidate will be required to demonstrate excellent trouble shooting and analytical skills.
 
They will be part of an agile team and will participate in all aspects of planning, reviewing requirements, writing, updating, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and regression testing documents, as required. They will be responsible for logging and tracking defects, and will work closely with developers, project managers, and product managers to ensure quality testing is taking place in a timely manner.
 

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of strong hands on experience with mobile testing
• 1+ years extensive knowledge with Charles or equivalent
• 1+ years' experience testing analytics for mobile applications
• 3+ years of experience with data validation and data migration testing
• Experience with video or continuous integration is a plus
• 4+ years of experience taking part in agile project management methodologies
• 4+ years of experienced with implementing QA best practices and tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Educational Requirements

B.S. or B.A. or Technical Degree in Computer Sciences required, or equivalent experience.

Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A+E Networks on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than twelve (12) months.
