My name is Vardhaan Ambati. I am a high school student and am the teen at BioCurious who ran the Teens Teaching Teens class this summer.
I am working with two other BioCurious members, Eric Espinosa and Johan Sosa on creating a CRISPR/Cas9 based nanotherapeutic applicable for fighting cancer.
This project is a great example of DIY bio as I, a high school student, am able to be the lead researcher on this project.
We have just launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds, and being a DIY group without university or government funding, we need all the help we can get.
