Position Name           : Maps Lead/ Senior Lead

Location                    : Seattle, WA

Education                  : B.S/ M.S

Years of Experience   : 5+ Years ( Lead )

Role Description:

The lead is responsible for:

•          Manage a team of maps specialists on creating, testing & piloting new workflows to improve maps data quality

•          Lead & Review the new workflow pilots

•          Mentor new team members on workflow, policies, procedures and in-house tools through trainings, constructive feedback and audits

•          Proactively review workflows, issues, backlogs and prioritize appropriately to resolve issues in a timely manner with limited information & support

•          Act as the QA for all new team members and enable path to productivity

•          Measure, Track & Report defined Goals, SLA's & Metrics

•          Provide feedback on the workflows to customer engineers/ managers/ other teams on pilots, workflows, quality issues and corrective actions taken

•          Interpret and train resources on Country specific GIS Mapping policy documents

•          Incubate and manage GIS Pilot projects from planning to execution

Mandatory Skills:

•          Experience in workflows related to large datasets ( graphics/ maps datasets ) including satellite/ street imagery, GIS data, graphics data etc

•          Experience in setting up / piloting workflows using industry standard tools / equivalent in-house tools

•          Experience with ESRI ArcGIS/ ArcGIS Analyst extensions/ Google Earth/ Google Maps/ equivalent in-house tools

•          Experience with MS SQL / equivalent

•          Experience in testing on iOS/ Android/ Browser platforms

•          Good scripting & automation skills

•          Excellent Communication skills

•          Excellent Mentoring & coaching skills

Good to Have Skills:

•          Experience with geospatial Image processing software like ERDAS/ ENVI / custom

•          Experience with operating using MS-Excel, SQL, Tableau

•          Experience using Spatial analytics softwares
