Role : Citrix Engineer
Location : St. Louis Park, MN
Duration : 5+ months contract

Minimum Required :
· 6+ years of Citrix Administration exp minimum
· Exp with XenApp – must have version 6.5
· Exp with Citrix Edgesight
General Requirements :
Under minimal supervision provide technical leadership and oversight to vendors who will implement a new Citrix XenApp 6.5 environment. Oversee and coordinate the planning, analysis, and execution of application migration from an older Citrix implementation to the new implementation. Oversee and review the development of an operational support model with chosen vendor, including documentation of routine support tasks, necessary procedures, and reporting and metrics. Review monitoring and control of Citrix environment performance in the areas of response, throughput, and availability. Perform system administration tasks in lower environments and perform 3rd level support and troubleshooting.
Candidate will be responsible for directing and checking work of other Information Technologists.
Technical Requirements :
· Experienced Citrix engineer who has 6+ years of administration experience with multiple versions of Citrix XenApp, including version 6.5.
· Experience administering Citrix Edgesight is required
· Experienced systems engineer who has 6+ years of system administration experience with Windows Server 2003, 2008, and 2012 operating systems.
· Experience with Active Directory.
· Experience executing version upgrades of XenApp. XenApp 4.5 to XenApp 6.5 is a plus.
· Experience with VMWare ESX 5.x technologies
· Experience deploying XenApp virtual server guests on VMWare hosts
· Experience with Citrix Provisioning Server in a XenApp virtual server environment
· Experience with Citrix Access Gateway running on the NetScaler appliance platform
· Experience with Citrix Edgesight and Edgesight for Endpoints
· Knowledge of SCOM and experience with automated system monitoring technology
· Experience with Windows patching procedures
· The position involves oversight and management of infrastructure outsourcing vendor(s)
· The ability to create and follow documented processes is a must
· XenDesktop experience is a plus
· Experience with Citrix App-DNA is a plus
· Experience with Microsoft App-V technology is a plus
· SQL query development is a plus
