Role : Installation and Deployment Specialist UNIX/J2EE
Location : New Jersey-Princeton
Interview : Phone and technical screening

Position Requirements:

Senior level software Installation / Deployment specialist with experience leading the installation, deployment, configuration and testing of a large-scale enterprise application.
The ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, agile development environment in support of short iterative cycles is a must.
Flexibility in understanding changing business priorities are a key for this position.

Core skills include:

·         Must have

·         Unix,

·         Oracle and

·         web application server experience

·         Must be familiar with OS install and database creation process

·         Clear understanding of hypervisors and

·         must be familiar with networking aspect of hypervisor.

·         Demonstrated skills in troubleshooting of unix system Understanding Agile development methodologies Experience with building scalable high-performance software while still being highly configurable Involved with the development team in estimating, planning Effective interpersonal communication skills in a highly collaborative team environment 

Technical Skills: 

·         Oracle 11.x +

·         JDBC/JTA

·         PL/SQL Java EE App Servers

·         JBoss

·         Weblogic Linux/x86 (RedHat preferable, Ubuntu)

·         Sun Solaris

·         HP-UX Itanium Hypervisors (VMware, KVM)

·         Experience with Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and Telecom OSSs (Service Fulfillment and/or Assurance) a plus

·         Typically requires 6+ years related experience with a BS

4-6 years experience with an MS Major Duties and Functions: Responsible for Installing , deploying , testing, planning and coordination of features in a tightly integrated product suite in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, agile environment. General 

Responsibilities:

·         Software install manual and automated Ownership of OS

·         Customizations and packaging System Configuration & Commissioning

·         Manual and automated Work with customer to establish commissioning data Upgrade planning/testing Migration scripting e.g.

DB migration Ensure that the system and functional architecture priorities are consistently applied across the solution, presenting their strategic benefits and managing their use across the solution efficiently and effectively Self directed work style, provide leadership and mentorship to less experience professional staff
