Position: BI Architect

Location : Redmond, WA

Duration: 3-6 Months

Rate : $55 /hr max only

Mandatory Skills:  DW Data Architecture , BI Architecture , BI Analysis and Solution design , SAP HANA Analytics, SAP BW-BI

Responsibilities:

·         Ability to take the functional and non-functional requirements and propose solution that will be able to meet the requirements. 2. Work with the design team to realize the architecture by providing suggestions on design options. 3.Review and validate the design decisions taken by the design teams. 4. Work with client architecture teams in - validate the non-functional requirements -discussing and providing inputs on architecture options Present the architecture and design to necessary stake holders as required. 6. Working experience with at least one common SDLC methods (RUP, Velociq)

·         Should have good theoretical understanding of the technology concepts Should be able to develop technology solutions to meet low and medium complexity project specific business requirements Experience Range : 0-1 years of experience in developing technology level solutions like architecture, framework, etc.

·         Experience in BI/OLAP framework definition, BI/OLAP Architecture, Evaluation and comparison of tools. Experience in provide technical guidance and mentorship in architecting and designing high end BI/OLAP implementations. Experience in resolving complex technical issues in BI/OLAP Design, architecture & implementation.2years of experience in end-to-end BI/OLAP design & implementation or experimentalist 1 BI/OLAP project end-to-end implementation

·         Experience in BI/OLAP framework definition, Architecture, evaluation and comparison of tools. Experience in preparation of solution framework, whitepapers and knowledge / competency documents. Interface with BI/OLAP product vendors, customers and technical support groups and represent in various internal and external forums.2years experience in BI/OLAP consulting or experience in Design & Implementation of 2 BI/OLAP development projects."

·         Participate in conferences, blog, publish white papers, conduct PoV sessions for customers

·         BI - Pre-requiste Should have OLAP design knowledge. Should have good experience on business analytics and the use of analytic apply Should be highly experienced and fluent in all aspects of SAP BI development and all its front-end tools. Should also have hands-on development experience using the latest version of SAP BI (NetWeaver 2004s version 7) and specifically the latest range of front-end tools including Report Designer, Web Application Designer, Web Analyzer (via Portal),and Query Designer - including new features and possibilities. Should have experience of projects taking data from both SAP and non-SAP systems and knowledge of process chain monitoring, tracking problems in loading, debugging queries (RSRT) etc. Should have technical knowledge of SAP R3 4.7 and/or ECC6 (erp2005)and module based specific knowledge of tables, transactions, BI related areas etc within SAP for purposes of testing, debug. Should have knowledge of data segregation, destabilization and ETL process.
