Just recently found out, from the popular science magazine, that this was even possible to do in a home setting. I am extremely interested in trying this. I have taken one microbiology class at a community college in california, so I have some experience in lab procedures, albeit not much. I would like to know basics in getting started up. Where can i find supplies? And where can i find plasmids and etc. i tried to look for some online that aren't just the glowing ones but couldnt find any. I also live in northern california, about three hours drive from the nearest diybio group..
