Are the guys that made the PCR@home project on this forum? I am also trying to track down the people that did the UV transilluminator.
I am trying to build these myself and have a few questions about specifics of LEDs for the UV box and where I should go to purchase a metal block that fits 0.2ml tubes. Also, I would like to find out about the device they used for the heated lid.
I am also wondering if they have an option available to purchase difficult to obtain parts (ie specifically machined pieces of metals etc), but can reduce the amount of shipping by allowing the customer to do their own 3d printing/laser cutting. I really want the openPCR, but I don't want to have to pay to get some wood cut and shipped to me when I can do it myself without the wasted transport.
