ROLE: Senior SQL Server DBA

Location: Camp Hill, PA

Duration: 12+ months

Note:  Please insure that your candidates have ENTERPRISE level, DEVELOPMENT DBA experience, with knowledge to support High Availability (Failover clusters) and Production Administration

REQUIRED SKILLS:

The individual must have at least five years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Databases (version: Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2008 R2) in high volume, enterprise grade solutions. The requirements include advance level expertise in:

·         Data modeling and the translation of the model into a highly performing physical database design

·         Experience in Microsoft .NET to lead architectural analysis and perform peer reviews of implementation to ensure effective use of the database design.

·         Perform diagnosis and identify corrective actions to address architecture or design limitations inherent in an implementation

·         Excellent T-SQL and ability to write stored procedures, UDFs and triggers, debugging and performance tuning stored procedures, advanced index analysis

·         Experience with data integrity, data retention, data analysis and data input/output processing and improving SQL code performance efficiency

·         Hands-on experience in creating, maintaining and supporting database schemas, server configurations (including clusters for high availability, drive layouts and drive optimization), and database configuration and optimizations

·         Developing processes/methods/tools to use in Database change management and database administration

·         Advanced SSIS package design, deployment and administration

·         excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven capability to influence and direct the direction of the development team

PREFERRED:

Candidates with the following Microsoft Certifications will be considered beneficial

•                     Microsoft Certified IT Professional - Database Developer 2008

•                     Microsoft Certified IT Professional - Database Administrator 2008

•                     Microsoft Certified Architect: Microsoft SQL Server
