Hi all,
If anyone is in or near to Manchester next Thursday (15th November) and fancies visiting MadLab, we're running an afternoon workshop and panel session on biohacking, DIYbio etc. alongside NESTA. The workshop in particular will be very cool as we've got our hands on one of Genomikon's prototype kits (thanks Doug!) so will be running through a very simple plasmid construction and e.coli transformation, based on self-cloning principles. We'll be showing off our nascent DIY lab space a couple of doors down from MadLab HQ too.
