If I wanted to test if a plant is effective in purifying water or soil
from contaminants, is the testing usually done with HPLC or Mass spec.
of the before and after sample? I haven't looked into this yet, but it
seems that may be the case?
In a DIY setting, I don't think running such instruments are feasible
for most of us. Are there other ways to test that anyone knows of?
Quantitative or even semi-quantitative methods for such tests?
