[DIYbio] BOSSLAB meeting, Sun 10, 1:30 PM

Hi guys,

BOSSLAB (bosslab.org ), Boston's DIYBio space is rebooting! We will be having weekly biology talks and demonstrations every Sunday. This weeks time is from 1:30-2:30, and you and your friends are INVITED, so get excited! The topic this week is DNA, and we will be supplying materials for a hands-on strawberry DNA extraction!

we are located at 339R Summer St, Somerville, a 5 minute walk from the Davis T-stop on the red line.

This meeting will feature:

A brief introduction to what DNA is by Dakota Hamill
Q&A response
Hands-On Strawberry DNA extraction
Open informal discussion forum (Who are we? Who are you? What do we want to do with biohacking in the Boston area?)

So put down the remote (or netfilx) and come down to Davis for some science!

If you can't make it this time, we hope to have more extended lab meetings, course offerings, and community discussions coming soon. Feel free to contact us if you'd like to be kept in the loop.
