My name is Lucio and I am working on a website that will bring multiple resources into one centralized spot. While in the future I am hoping to have education, projects, hardware, wetware etc. branches to the site, for now I am focusing on creating a forum for all skill sets within the DIYbio community.
The idea for the forum is you get points for any helpful answers or posts. These points will go toward providing discounts for all products on the site. When I figure out how to create groups, you can join a local group with their permission and everyone's points will pool, giving everyone discounts and other benefits.
I am very curious:
What products/reagents you buy often, or wish were easier to obtain?
What are any services/features you wish were available, or that you enjoy currently?
What are some things that would help further help the DIYbio community?
What do you think is the biggest roadblock or hurdle we need to overcome?
What could be done to help newcomers prosper?
