Biotech 101 is a fast paced class aimed at getting people ready to work on their personal biotech projects or to join bluegene. We will cover safety and aseptic technique, and explore the central dogma of biology by creating fluorescent green bacteria and practicing DNA extraction and gel electrophoresis.
Class will run from 3:00 to about 5:30 this Saturday and Sunday (23 and 24) at BOSSLAB/sprout, which is in Davis square. The cost/person for this weekend is $150. This goes towards materials and equipment for the class and BOSSLAB.
