That's not biosecurity.

Huh, yeah, I guess I thought the securing of bio was in regard to securing human safety. The wikipedia article on biosecurity doesn't actually mention humans as being the main concern, rather the *biological agents* that could harm humans. 
 
That's a breach of business ethics, ill
treatment of workers, and neglect of health and safety of workers.
It's a failure of government to protect its citizens and the failure
of corporations to look at more than the bottom line. We don't have
factory workers painting the hands of watches with radium anymore.
Why? Because it kills people and destroys livelihoods.


Seems like if someone left a DIY makerspace with nerve damage, it'd be shut down pretty damn fast.

It's used widely in the industry. Not just at that plant.


But the company in the article was mis-using the chemicals. Widespread use is fine under proper conditions.
