Role : Sr. UI/UX Consultant

Location : Atlanta, GA

Duration : One Year contract and extendable

Job Description:

Should have 10+ years of IT experience with 5-7 years in Ui/UX area.

Bachelors degree with Human factors certification

· Study users to understand their SSNiFs (stakeholders, situations, needs, leading to features)

· Create models that form the foundation of features within a cohesive experience: workflow diagrams, flowcharts, storyboards, personas and other models

· Provide UX visual design leadership, expertise, and support, helping define project approach to accommodate constraints while delivering the best user-centered experience.

· Collaborate with and participate in ideation and concept explorations with the product team throughout any project lifecycle, facilitating and driving UX solutions, discussions and planning.

· Conduct usability testing

· Contribute to the growing library of knowledge around user centered design both through products you develop and best practice research.

Experience and Skills

· Bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Information Architecture, User Interface Design, Human Factors, Graphic Design, Technical Communication or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Minimum of 5 years of interaction design experience including HTML-based desktop, mobile or equivalent interactive experiences with an expert ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.

· Experience with Agile development.

· In depth knowledge of User Interface design principles, Human Factors, User-Centric Design Processes, Interaction Design guidelines, usability testing methodologies.

· A design portfolio showing strong creative skills, ability to generate solid design ideas, and thorough understanding of good design process

· Experience working with internal and external design and UX teams.

Description :

· Strong background in presentation development and architecture

· Work closely with content management, technology, marketing and LOB leaders to create and maintain a unified, customer driven direction

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

· Solutions oriented with the ability to multi-task and make quick, innovative, and creative changes based on feedback from the project team

· A robust understanding of HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript with at least 3 years of work experience with JQuery framework and AJAX, and XML markup and standardization practices

· In-depth understanding of CSS 1, CSS2, and emerging CSS3 standards
