Job Description:
Job Title: Sr. Programmer Analyst .Net
Location: Northern NJ
Duration: 6 months +
Citizens, Green Cards, EADs
Summary:
The .NET Developer will have responsibility for delivering and supporting applications written in .NET for the Client Portal and related web applications.
Specific responsibilities include:
Ø Developing and deploying .NET applications for the Client and applications.
Ø Performing analysis and technical design and documentation as required to support the application development process.
Ø Complying with IT standards, practices, methodologies, etc.
Ø Participating/facilitating team meetings.
Ø Participating in internal and customer demonstrations, feedback sessions, etc.
Essential Duties:
85% Build and deliver functionality as required. Collaborate with other team members to define and implement solutions. Document and design new initiatives and processes as required.
10% Provide support to existing portal functionality.
5% Perform other duties as assigned
Required Competencies:
Technical Skills:
Ø Strong technical background in information technology management; strong process knowledge of the systems development life cycle, change management, code management.
Ø .Net Developer with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in software analysis, design, development and unit testing of client/server architecture and web-based applications using Microsoft technologies
Ø Must have extensive experience with .NET framework 2.0/3.5/4.0
Ø Extensive experience with C#.NET, ASP.NET, WCF, Design Patterns, XML/XSLT, HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, Ajax, SQL Server database objects, SSRS, IIS
Ø Extensive experience building multi-tiered .NET web apps
Ø Extensive experience building UI, web controls and client based functionality
Ø Good UI designs skills
Ø Proven experience with unit testing tools and code review activities
Ø Extensive database experience specifically with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 – Stored procedures, indexes, functions, SQL performance tuning
Ø Working knowledge of design tools like Visio, Expression Blend
Ø Working knowledge of ANTS Profiler and ReSharper tools
Ø Working knowledge of SSIS, BizTalk, WebAPI, ERP applications, or Help tools like Sandcastle is a plus
Ø Experience working with TFS and Visual Studio 2010/2012
Ø Experience working with various development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
Ø Strong application design and architecture concepts
Ø Release Management - Individual must be skilled in delivering applications/software against a schedule and quality and performance standards.
Ø Communication - Individual must have good verbal and written communication skills

Ø Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field

Ø Experience building B2B applications preferred
