So here I saw one of those vidz where they make silly putty out of laundry detergent and bottled glue, i though.. "hmm.. cool.. so thats how you make that stuff I used to play with as a kid"

and then I looked to my left, to my container currently full of magnetic power, and all of a sudden a light went on.. here is something I can probably use underwater, is flexible, and perhaps i can make it magnetic.

First test was a grand success, the magnetic power seem to bind right into the polymer, handling freshly made stuff wont even stain your hands with any of the black rust.

Making little "slugs" out of it is really fun, they like to climb from the weaker magnetic field areas to the stringer ones. I'll bet I can easily build a tanks where these guys float around controlled by magnets :D

Making this is extremely simple and requires only things from around the house.

As per how to make the magnetic power, here are two videos explaining how to make the stuff and refine/store it. The storage method is still being tested, but so far salt storage seems great.

Now.. what else can I magnetise.. plastics look out.. prepare to become ferromagnetic :D
