Role : Java/C# Developer

Position Description :
· They require strong Java and C# developers to work within a global team on their new and on-going projects. You will be working on a highly distributed, low latency trading system based on a Java server platform with a C# client UI.
· The system books trades, continuously calculates prices based on market conditions, calculates and reports value at risk and connects directly with many electronic markets. The system relies on many modern technologies such as grid computing and distributed caching.
· The role will involve all aspects of the software life cycle including gathering requirements from the business, analysis of existing systems/functionality, design and implementation, all the way through to production roll out and subsequent support.
· We need flexible candidates who are practical technologists, show excellent problem solving skills and enjoy all aspects of software development.
· The successful candidate will work closely with the several global teams within the FID Credit technology department and, when necessary, interact directly with the Corporate Credit business unit and with the Firm's middleware IT groups when using their frameworks/software.
Skills Required :
· Strong C#/Java
· Data structures, design patterns and collections
· Multi-threaded programming
Skills Desired :
· Fixed Income business / analytical knowledge
· Experience with database, soap, xml
