Description:

 

Data Conversion Lead

 

The Data Conversion Lead is responsible for developing the conversion strategy as well as analyzing, planning, executing and evaluating results for data conversion from a legacy mainframe, Relational systems to a modernized system that uses Oracle as the Database. Coordinating a team of developers globally, the data conversion lead will work closely with the client and the architects to rapidly develop and execute the conversion of data from legacy databases into the target solution data architecture.

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

Ø  Minimum 10 years of IT industry experience.

Ø  Must demonstrate expertise in data conversion, data quality, and ETL tools.

Ø  Experience with Informatica Power Center is required

Ø  Must demonstrate expertise in Oracle database.

Ø  Excellent client relationship skills

Ø  Must have a thorough understanding of relational DB design principles for operational databases and data warehouses.

Ø  Health Insurance Industry (Payer or Public) experience is preferred

Ø  Motivated, self-directed individual with a strong background in bridging functional requirements and technical solutions

Ø  Ability to use experience and technical knowledge in proposing multiple viable solution options and present accurate implementation time estimates.

Ø  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Must be able to articulate.

Ø  Ability to work as part of a large team, and co-operate and collaborate at all levels
