Role : Lead SAP HR Consultant

Duration : 4-6 months minimum

Location : Chicago, IL

 

Project Role:       Implement  SAP HR Time & Attendance at an existing plant.  Scope will             

                             include Time Management with integration to SAP Payroll and Kaba-Benzing

                             timeclocks.   

 

Position Summary

 

The primary role will be to perform SAP design, consultation, and system configuration to support various business and Human Resources processes.   Particular areas of emphasis will include configuration, documentation, and reporting for the SAP Time Management and Payroll modules.  Additional responsibilities will include participating on the project team both as a leader and a member, working closely with business managers throughout all phases of project implementations, and coordinating technical solutions as required by the Business.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

 

·         Apply practical knowledge of SAP HR in an SAP 6.0 environment.

·         Perform analysis of a facility's SAP HR requirements and determine tasks required for implementation.

·         Identify and implement SAP HR configuration required to meet the needs of the Business.

·         Implement Time Evaluation and Payroll Schema changes required to support payroll policies.

·         Demonstrate detailed knowledge of SAP HR configuration with focus on Time Management and Payroll.

·         Demonstrate working knowledge of HR business processes / system concepts with focus on Time Management and Payroll.

·         Serve as an SAP system expert for moderate-to-complex questions pertaining to the integration of SAP modules (HR, FI, CO, PP, MM, PM, etc).

·         Provide functional expertise in testing SAP modifications and communicating the changes to the organization.

·         Manage common configuration issues and system updates based on business requirements

·         Design and implement complex SAP system solutions as required to support Business needs.

·         Organize and perform project planning, analysis, regression testing, and verification of SAP system release upgrades and functional enhancements.

·         Provide end-user system training.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

·         5+ years SAP HR experience, with hands-on Time Management and Payroll configuration required.

·         Experience with Kaba-Benzing time clocks a plus.

·         Extensive experience with project methodology including planning, testing, and documentation standards.

·         Strong computer skills (PC and client server) with prior experience working on SAP system design and configuration.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Demonstrated ability to work in a team.

·         Ability to collaborate with global colleagues.

·         Demonstrated project leadership skills.

·         Demonstrated ability to work with various functional areas and meet specified deadlines.

·         Ability to travel as needed.

·         U.S. based

·         Automotive experience a plus
