Role : Cognos Developer
Location : Malvern, PA
Duration : 6 months (Possibility of extension)

Interview Method: Initial Phone Screen –then FACE TO FACE

Candidate must have the ability and desire to interview face to face on-site and also to work on-site 5 days per week.

Position Responsibilities:

·         Senior level developer position responsible for the development of TM1 Planning and Forecasting Tools for Supply Chain Operations including Financial

·         Forecasting/Budget, Demand Forecasting, Production Planning.

·         This role requires a deep experience in software development, data structures and Reporting and data analysis systems that include Cognos/SSRS dashboards, standard

reports, and ad-hoc reporting capabilities. Participate in design, architecture and testing initiatives

·         Debug, monitor, and troubleshoot our code and deployed solutions

·         Write relational and multidimensional database queries

·         Design, create , deploy and maintain ETL processes

·         Develop and maintain TM1 Planning/Forecasting Applications

·         Create and deploy BI reports

·         Configure, deploy, and maintain releases

·         Analyze SQL code for problem resolution and performance optimization

·         Attend meetings in preparation of project planning directly with client business users and sponsors, including requirements and architecture review, and project milestone sessions

Required Skills/Knowledge:

·         Five plus years hands on development experience with TM1/Cognos

·         Five plus years of ETL and DW experience a large production environment

·         Minimum five years developing reports and dashboards with Cognos and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) /or other reporting tools

·         Experience in TM1 cubes / Rules / TI process /Active Forms / Web forms, Perspective, Architect,

·         Experience creating and maintaining SSIS packages

·         Proven experience with SQL server 2008, DW dimensional modeling and OLAP cubes

·         Report Development Experience with experience in dashboards with multi-level drilling

·         Framework Manager Experience

·         Ten years of experience working with Business Insight / Cognos Workspace a plus

·         Experience working with a Data Warehouse SSIS

·         Good written and verbal communication skills

·         Ability to work in a team or independently

·         Ability to assess and analyze user needs and develop solutions

·         Experience developing Active Reports a plus

·         Ability to assess and analyze user needs and develop solutions

·         Ability to focus on priorities, work on multiple tasks, and meet deadlines

·         Experience in designing and development of Supply Chain Planning systems including Capacity Planning, Demand Planning and Forecasting Systems highly desirable

·         Experience in consulting within financial planning, budgeting and forecasting

·         Good written and verbal communication skills

·         Ability to work in a team or independently

·         Ability to assess and analyze user needs and develop solutions

·         Ability to focus on priorities, work on multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
