I'd like to get the word out about a hackathon in memory of Aaron Swartz. Aaron wanted to work on 'the most important things', including the liberation of scientific publications. Open science has benefited from his activism, so let us continue the conversation this weekend, November 8-10, by gathering in Amsterdam, Austin, Bangalore, Berlin, Boston, Brisbane, Buenos Aires, Chicago, Houston, Kathmandu, Magdeburg, NYC, Santiago, Seattle, SF, Zagreb.
